Procedure
To register in person call or email us for an
appointment or come in to the school during the hours listed above. To register
by mail print and fill out the registration form Click here
for PDF version of the registration form. Send completed
registration form with a $150.00 deposit which will hold your child's place in
class. To complete your registration you must come in by September 11 and pay
the balance of the deposit. At that time you may purchase the required class
leotard. For your convenience we also carry a full line of dancewear and shoes.

Dress
Code
Girls registering for Ballet, Kids Ballet ‘n Jazz, or Tap must wear the leotard of their division, pink tights, pink leg warmers and pink ballet
slippers. The leotard is a special one which is sold at the school. The school also stocks a complete supply of tights, skirts, etc. as well as the
finest BLOCH ballet slippers. Colors are as follows: Kids Ballet ’n Jazz - pink; Elementary Ballet I & II - pink,
Elementary Ballet III - powder blue; Intermediate Ballet I - acqua; Intermediate Ballet I - navy; Intermediate III Ballet - wine; Advanced
Ballet - Black. Children must have the proper uniform to be admitted to class. Hair must be worn in a headband if it is short and in a bun
secured with hairpins and a hairnet (no scrunchees) if it is long. Hair correctly put up is part of the discipline of dance and keeps the children
from constantly pushing their hair off their faces during class.
Great Neck School of
Dance Policies
The Great Neck School of Dance is not responsible for injuries sustained
while dancing or for loss of personal property. In the event of bad weather,
please call the school. There will be a recording if the school is closed.
Missed classes must be made up in the session in which the student is
registered. Any class with an enrollment of less than 7 children is subject to
cancellation.
