The Great Neck School of Dance and the members of the American Ballet Russe present
an annual performance on the second Sunday in June. Many students in ballet or tap classes elect to join a Performing
workshop, an additional quarter or half hour in which the dance for the performance
is practiced. Being in a performance where she is surrounded by professionals is
exciting and thrilling for a child and teaches her to appreciate classical ballet.
Parents should know that being in a performance involves extra stage and studio
rehearsals before the show and the purchase of a costume and tickets. |
